| The downtown community is where Harbor Presbyterian Church began because we believe God is calling us to be a part of the changing face of San Diego, and the best place to do that is in the heart of the city. But our vision goes beyond simply being a church in the city. More importantly, we want to be a church for the city. Our dream is to take our place alongside the many people and organizations that care about San Diego, and to help make downtown the best possible place to live and work. |  |
| Our desire is to be a part of a movement in the city of San Diego that will result in personal renewal, committed families, racial reconciliation as well as hope and help for people in need. To achieve these goals we are partnering with other churches and organizations in a variety of mercy ministries. We are also becoming a church that reflects the racial, ethnic and economic diversity of San Diego. Finally, we are encouraging people in practical ways to see their work as a way to worship and honor God.
